WWE Files For New NXT Trademark

WWE has filed for a new trademark with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. 

On June 9, WWE submitted an application with the USPTO to trademark 'NXT Gold Rush.' The filing is intended to cover the categories of a show about professional wrestling.

Here is the description: 

“Mark For: NXT GOLD RUSH trademark registration is intended to cover the categories of a show about professional wrestling; the production and exhibition of professional wrestling events rendered live and through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing wrestling news and information through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing information in the fields of sports through broadcast media including television and distributed via various platforms across multiple forms of transmission media; providing a website in the field of sports information.”

AEW Wrestler Announces Departure

 BY: RYAN  Fuego Del Sol is no longer under contract with AEW. Del Sol made regular appearances on AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation during the COVID-19 pandemic. He went on a 34-match losing streak, which was broken on July 6, 2021, in a tag team match when he and Marko Stunt defeated Ryzin and Baron Black. Ricky Starks Accompanied Cody Rhodes To WrestleMania 38 Return

BY: Ryan  AEW Star Ricky Starks was at WWE Royal Rumble 2023 this past weekend, accompanying Cody Rhodes backstage ahead of the American Nightmare triumph in the titular men's match. Ricky Starks attendence was revealed when a leaked still from a security camera started going around online. Both Fightful Select and PWInsider has Confirmed Ricky Starks and Cody Rhodes are extremely close friends and Ricky Starks has accompanied Cody Rhodes to previous WWE event. "  There was some internet surprise to AEW Ricky Starks being in attendance at the Royal Rumble with Cody Rhodes as a photo popped up online. The two are extremely close. Ricky Starks and QT Marshall was actually with Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 38 in Dallas when Rhodes made his WWE return as well".
