Roman Reigns Surpasses CM Punk’s 434 Day Reign With The WWE Championship

CM Punk held the WWE Championship for 434 days in a modern record with the title.

Roman Reigns has now been WWE Champion longer than CM Punk, due to his new title taking lineage from both the Universal and WWE Championships. Reigns captured the WWE title in a match with Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38.

We will have to wait and see how much longer Reigns remains WWE Champion but for now, he has now surpassed one of the longest WWE title reigns in recent memory.

AEW Wrestler Announces Departure

BY: RYAN Fuego Del Sol is no longer under contract with AEW. Del Sol made regular appearances on AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation during the COVID-19 pandemic. He went on a 34-match losing streak, which was broken on July 6, 2021, in a tag team match when he and Marko Stunt defeated Ryzin and Baron Black. Ricky Starks attendence was revealed when a leaked still from a security camera started going around online. Both Fightful Select and PWInsider has Confirmed Ricky Starks and Cody Rhodes are extremely close friends and Ricky Starks has accompanied Cody Rhodes to previous WWE event. " There was some internet surprise to AEW Ricky Starks being in attendance at the Royal Rumble with Cody Rhodes as a photo popped up online. The two are extremely close. Ricky Starks and QT Marshall was actually with Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 38 in Dallas when Rhodes made his WWE return as well".
