Backstage Updates on Drew McIntyre’s WWE Status and Return

WWE officials want Drew McIntyre back by Money In the Bank.

A new report from PWInsider notes that there has been a push within WWE creative to get Drew McIntyre back into the storyline mix by Money In the Bank Weekend in London, which makes sense given his status as one of the WWE’s top European stars.

There were meetings held last week to discuss pitches for McIntyre’s return, but there’s no word yet on if they have booked his return.

AEW Wrestler Announces Departure

 BY: RYAN  Fuego Del Sol is no longer under contract with AEW. Del Sol made regular appearances on AEW Dark and AEW Dark: Elevation during the COVID-19 pandemic. He went on a 34-match losing streak, which was broken on July 6, 2021, in a tag team match when he and Marko Stunt defeated Ryzin and Baron Black.
