SmackDown Preview For 5/5/23

Coming to you guys with SmackDown special episode tonight in Puerto Rico. With the recent wwe draft that happened last week the new roster won’t be in affect till after Blacklash. As we head into Blacklash in puerto rico this pay per view will be one for the ages. With mixed feelings leading up to this pay per view especially with some of the match cards we can still expect a lot of good things coming into wwe Blacklash.

The recent rivalry between the Viking raiders and the O.C. Which first started last Friday when AJ styles made his return to friday night SmackDown. Recent run in between these two factions as they go head to head tonight with AJ styles return he made a huge impact since his return which also AJ styles has been getting a lot of great feedback since return.

With another great match heading into tonight’s show as we got Shinsuke going against karrion Kross to finally settle the score between these two. The recent attack that Kross has been doing to Shinsuke since he has came back has been nothing but vicious. Once again heading into tonight’s smackdown shinsuke wants nothing but revenge and of course settle the score once and for all. 

A surprising return as we got cody rhodes coming to SmackDown. The recent actions that has transpired between Brock and Cody has been wild and every since then it only gotten more crazier. Which first started raw after wrestlemania when Cody got attacked from behind by Brock. Every since then leading up to their match at Blacklash cody and brock we will facing off one more time before Blacklash.

The fan favorite bad bunny will be returning to SmackDown once again before his big match against priest at Blacklash. As used to be friends and even once tag team partners as years later on priest has turned his back on bad bunny. Once reported during another confrontation between priest and bunny but only this time bunny got revenge on priest as bunny brought a candle stick with him and proceeded to attack priest. Heading into tonight’s smackdown we can expect something to happen with bad bunny returning to smackdown.

Both Fightful Select and PWInsider has Confirmed Ricky Starks and Cody Rhodes are extremely close friends and Ricky Starks has accompanied Cody Rhodes to previous WWE event. Ricky Starks and QT Marshall was actually with Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 38 in Dallas when Rhodes made his WWE return as well".
