SmackDown Preview For 5/12/23

Coming to you with a preview of SmackDown as we got a banger show coming tonight. As well will see potentially some new debuts of the new recent drafted superstars including Cameron grimes and more. 

The first triple threat match for the world heavyweight champion tournament will have Austin theory, sheamus, and everyone’s fan favorite to win the belt Bobby lashley. The following of the match who ever wins the triple threat will proceed to the semi finals tonight. Austin theory and Bobby lashley having history with each other we can guarantee that this triple threat match won’t disappoint. 

The second triple threat match that we have is AJ styles, Rey mysterio, and the legend the hall of famer edge. Whoever wins the triple threat will head on to the semi finals which out of those two superstars who ever wins will go against Seth Rollins at night of champions. Comparing this match to the other triple threat match this will for sure be my favorite triple threat to watch. 

As we are getting the debut of Cameron grimes as he will be having his first match against Corbin. What led up to his match against Corbin was when grimes and Corbin had a lil confrontation which ended up with grimes challenging corbin. Grimes wrestling resume goes far as NXT day as grimes continued to build up his stardom. As I and a lot of wwe fans feel that grimes will have a huge impact on SmackDown as we go to the moon tonight. 

Tonight we are going to hear and we will finally get to see Roman Reigns on SmackDown tonight. The recent things that had been happening since reigns been gone has mostly the tension between solo sikoa and Jey uso. At Blacklash which sikoa won the match for the bloodline which reigns is not going to be happy with jimmy and Jey. The question on everyone mind is what is reigns going to do with Jey uso especially tonight. 

For the women’s division we got liv and Raquel defending there titles against Dakota and Bailey. The good decent title reign from liv and Raquel there is no doubt that liv and Raquel are willing to defend the belts every week. As a wrestling fan I do feel liv and Raquel are a good team but them having a good feud would for sure put the icing on the cake for the tag team.

Ricky Starks Accompanied Cody Rhodes To WrestleMania 38 Return

BY: Ryan  AEW Star Ricky Starks was at WWE Royal Rumble 2023 this past weekend, accompanying Cody Rhodes backstage ahead of the American Nightmare triumph in the titular men's match. Ricky Starks attendence was revealed when a leaked still from a security camera started going around online. Both Fightful Select and PWInsider has Confirmed Ricky Starks and Cody Rhodes are extremely close friends and Ricky Starks has accompanied Cody Rhodes to previous WWE event. "  There was some internet surprise to AEW Ricky Starks being in attendance at the Royal Rumble with Cody Rhodes as a photo popped up online. The two are extremely close. Ricky Starks and QT Marshall was actually with Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 38 in Dallas when Rhodes made his WWE return as well". Miro Defeats Tony Nese on AEW Collision

 BY: RYAN  Tonight's debut episode of AEW Collision featured the return of a former AEW TNT Champion, as "The Redeemer" Miro picked up a very impressive victory over Tony Nese, finishing Nese off with his Camel Clutch submission hold. Winner: Miro  The bell sounds and we're officially off-and-running with one-on-one action between Miro and Tony Nese. Straight out of the gate Miro bum-rushes and rag-dolls "The Premier Athlete" all over the place. Just as Miro is about to finish off Nese, we see "Smart" Mark Sterling hop on the ring apron and provide a distraction. This allows Nese to try a sneak attack from behind. Unfortunately for him even that extra assist from the outside isn't enough to stop Miro, as "The Redeemer" brushes his offensive attempts off and gets back to Donkey Kong'ing him all over the ring.
